Fall Harvest Festival in Fort Tryon Park this weekend!

With the year-long renovation of Bennett Park under way, this Fall’s Harvest Festival is moving to Fort Tryon Park.

The festival will take place on Saturday, October 22 from 1-4PM at the New Leaf Cafe lawn. (Rain location: Fort Washington Collegiate Church on 181st Street.)

Festivities will include the traditional pie-baking contest. Submissions should be in by 2pm. There will also be the usual scarecrow making and pumpkin painting contests.

Community volunteers organize the free event with support from local businesses and the Parks Department. There will be a canned food drive for the hungry, so bring a donation!
